Thank God for giving us a leader with conscience, love of country, and empathy for the suffering masses of our dear country. For those pundits and abrasive irrational opposition miscreants who viewed the President's agenda for change with aggressive pessimism might still go on claiming that they (the SLPP ) completed 95% of the Bumbuna Project. But who cares anyway about what per cent or fraction any subsequent government worked or completed on the damn project? The fact of the matter is, phase one of the long awaited project has now been completed by a leader of a country who understands that, Light is a necessary instrument for the development of a nation. This is the reason this President and his no nonsense team prioritized energy as one of the prerequisites for the development of our country. This is the reason the President opted to be its overseer, to ensure that the longest project apart from the Aberdeen Bridge Project is completed within reasonable time, even with very meager means. The will to do righteous good deeds always triumph.
Indeed the days of the Kabbah-Tiger generators are absolutely coming to an end in the villages and hamlets of Sierra Leone. Bravo! Mr. President and Kudos to all those souls that made it possible. Let there be a time in the political culture of Sierra Leone, the realm of the free, and the country that we love, that we have a President and a government who delivers what they had promised the electorate. Indeed, this confirms the APC's maiden slogan " A.P.C. We nor dae lie, we nor dae tiff "Whereas the SLPP always dream of doing great things whenever they have the opportune time to ruin the government, the APC, Realists always come out swiftly to clean not only the filth and squalor they left behind, but to make those dreams of the drunken and power thirsty SLPP dreamers into reality. They think of plans, and we always implement those plans. What a wonderful place this world could be if only our elected leaders could adopt senses of pride in doing good for the sake of the people whose votes they asked for in exchange with making their lives better than they had met them. The very good feeling you get from accomplishing a genuine good work for the welfare
of the people could not be described, nor overemphasized.
Now is the time for all rational thinking citizens of Sierra Leone to leave behind them the incendiary rhetoric and build support for real and meaningful solutions to ensure that President Koroma succeeds where others have failed with distinctions, and to eventually succeed in fulfilling the promise of his campaign to making a difference in governance. If there are any lessons to be learnt from his administration, the recent activities of the ACC and the Presidents promise of not having a safe haven for stray cows in his government with his recent measures taken are indicators of his candid willingness to fulfill his promise to the people of Sierra Leone in general and the electorate in particular to fight corruption by all means necessary.
There are great minds living in the Diaspora whose absence back home has serious consequences of brain drainage in the country. Instead of answering to the President's call to them to help him in nation building, many of them have simply resorted to stuffing the cyberspace with fabrications and mendacious lies about him. Most of them do this with impunity, with no modicum of understanding the difference between facts and fiction. Yet we have seen some who had answered the call to nation building resorting to fulfilling their contemptible desires to fleece the government and people of Sierra Leone.
Some others are hiding behind some bogus ventures in the guise of helping in nation building simply to promote their hidden nefarious deceitful agendas. Some even have the cancerous audacity to go as expatriates to their home country from the Diaspora, only to engage in immoral display of their cockiness. "But we day watch dem koro koro, we day watch them oju kokoro"! But we are watching them keenly with our open eyes. If one chooses to dishonor oneself in politics, believe me, we will facilitate it to be dishonorable for him by all means necessary in the art of politicking. Once again I duff my hat to my President, Dr, Ernest Bai Koroma for doing a fantastic job in our nation that was ravaged and plundered by the Sierra Leone Plunderers Party's do nothing government . Victory to the people of Sierra Leone, and Long live the APC Party.
