SLAJ wishes to invite all media owners (print, broadcast & electronic) to an emergency meeting at its headquarters on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00am prompt, to seek consensus on the following important issues:
• Proposed increment in advertising rates
• Proposed increment in the cost of newspapers
• The welfare of employees
• The vendor factor in relation to the proposed price increase.
Please note that each media house should be represented by only one representative. Also in attendance will be two representatives from the Sierra Leone News Vendors Association.
